Enterprise Learning
Employees use Enterprise Learning Management (ELM) to register for most workshops, courses, programs, and self-serve eLearning modules offered at UCalgary.
Note: Not all reference guides listed here include the new ELM user-interface, but the navigation steps remain the same. Contact UService if you require further assistance.
ELM for all Employees and Learners
This feature is like your learning shopping cart, allowing you to save courses you want to take later.
This feature allows you to keep track of learning taken through other systems (e.g., Continuing education).

As an ELM instructor or class facilitator you are responsible for administering the class roster. This includes marking attendance, entering grades, enrolling learners, dropping learners, and monitoring the waitlist.

Tax Forms
The university’s taxation year includes earnings paid from December 16 up to and including December 15 each year. The University of Calgary is required to file all year-end slips (T4/T4A forms) no later than February 28 each year for the prior tax year.
- To access your slip, simply log in my.ucalgary.ca > “All About Me” > “My Pay” > “Payroll Details” > “View T4/T4A Slips”.
