Move-in Volunteers

Residence move-in is one of the most exciting events at the University of Calgary each year. This year we will welcome over 3,000 students to their new home at UCalgary.

Volunteers make students' move-in day welcoming and an event to remember. If you would like to volunteer your energy and enthusiasm to Move-in 2023, complete the registration form. Residence Services will contact volunteers with more information on Aug. 18, 2023.

Residents that volunteer will be able to move in one day prior (Saturday, August 26).

Move-in Volunteer Information  
Sunday, August 27, 2023
8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Volunteers will help residents move items from their vehicle to their room. Lifting and carrying items will be required. 
Volunteers will receive breakfast, lunch, a move-in shirt and memories that will last a lifetime.

This position requires students to be in good conduct standing for non-academic misconduct.
