Ty Werbicki

Biography

Ty Werbicki is interested in deploying complex statistical learning methods on cutting-edge compute accelerators to solve problems faced by the modern data-driven business. Ty has previously worked on problems rooted in bioinformatics and corporate finance. He’s excited to continue to pursue his passions of statistics and computer science as a student in Waterloo’s Quantitative Finance program this fall. Ty developed his unremitting technological curiosities while using UCalgary’s Advanced Research Computing cluster to carry out his BHSc honours thesis. He eventually hopes to establish his own quantitative research firm in the future.
