External Exam Centre

The Enrolment Services Exam Centre administers assessments that are external to the university. It provides a welcoming, efficient and reliable exam writing experience for students who are taking courses locally or internationally through a variety of institutions, businesses, and professional organizations.

Making a reservation

For mailed exams:

A minimum of 10 business days between the submission of your booking form and the exam date is preferred to allow time for your exam to arrive from your home institution. However, if you require an earlier booking and your exam can be express-mailed, we will try to accommodate your request.

For emailed/online exams:

A minimum of five business days between the submission of your booking form and the exam date is preferred. However, please contact us if you require an earlier booking and we will try to accommodate your request.

Note: If you are acting on behalf of an institution, business or professional organization, please contact us directly to make exam writing arrangements for your students.

Booking availability

Booking are typically available on:

Mondays at 1 p.m.
Tuesdays at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Wednesdays at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Thursdays at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Fridays at 9 a.m.

We may also be able to accommodate exams outside of these days and times; please contact us to discuss options.

We offer students studying in Canada and around the world a welcoming and professional exam writing experience.

We are an approved testing centre for the Real Estate Council Alberta (RECA).

London

University of London exam

We are a designated testing centre for students who are taking courses through the University of London.


Exam day

Plan to arrive  10 to 15 minutes before your exam is scheduled to begin. 

What to bring

All students are expected to present a piece of valid government-issued photo ID upon arrival. Since every exam is slightly different, it is important to follow the regulations set out by your institution. A list of allowable materials and guidelines should be provided by your instructor or organization.

Storing your belongings

We are pleased to provide you with a locker while you are writing your exam. Cellphones, smart watches, and other non-permissible items must remain in the locker for the duration of the exam (or can be left at home).
