Ashley Labossiere

Biography

Ashley Labossiere’s passion is to abolish gender-based violence, and advocate for women and children who have faced trauma. The most significant sources informing her practice have been feminism, trauma-informed care, strength-based approaches and mindfulness. She has started work within the research field and is continuing her education through the Faculty of Law. In the future, she hopes to create an organization for women and children that advocates for gender equality, and specializes in complex trauma. Ashley is looking forward to developing her knowledge and experience to provide better support and generate radical systemic change.
