Biography

Pamela Dos Ramos, a Human Rights Educator with the Alberta Civil Liberties Research Centre in Calgary does presentations and workshops on Human Rights and Anti-Racism, and creates educational resources for the Centre. A former sessional instructor at the University of Calgary she taught “Cultural Influences on Professional Practice”, “Communicating across Cultures”, and co-taught “Learning Anti-Racism” and “International and Intercultural Communication”. She also co- taught “Culturally Responsive Facilitation” and “Cultural Diversity in Conflict Resolution” at Mount Royal University. As an Adjunct Professor for Gonzaga University, she taught Multicultural Counseling to Master’s Degree candidates at Gonzaga University’s Calgary Centre for 10 years and currently teaches Culture and Diversity to Master’s Degree candidates in the Department of Educational Leadership and Administration.
