Alberta institutions

If you have attended a high school or post-secondary institution in Alberta, that participates in ApplyAlberta, the University of Calgary will obtain your transcripts on your behalf. There is no need to send them to us.

If you attend a non-semestered high school (linear), you will need to arrange for your school to send us your interim grades by March 15. Your school can send via email to

British Columbia high schools

Request your transcript through BC Ministry of Education’s website. Once submitted, we will receive your transcripts electronically in January, May and July.

To ensure we review your first semester and interim (non-semestered schools) grades, you will need to arrange for your school send us first semester/interim grades by March 15. Grades reports can be emailed to

Ontario high schools

Have your school send us an initial transcript by March 15 to or the address listed above. If you have an Ontario Universities Application (OUAC) reference number, we will request your final transcripts on your behalf. You can provide your OUAC number on your application for admission or through

All other Canadian and international institutions

Have your school or government agency send your official transcripts directly to the Admissions Office by March 15. You may provide us with unofficial transcripts to start your admission review process; however, official copies must be sent before the final transcripts deadlines noted above.

Final Transcript Deadlines

Ensure your final official transcripts are received by the following dates:

Transfer students:                June 1

High school students:          August 1

Please note:
Transcripts received by the admissions office become the property of the University of Calgary and cannot be returned. If you require the originals to be returned, please contact us for assistance.
