Tamara Booy

Biography

Tamara Booy has completed a Bachelor of Science in kinesiology (with distinction). The extensive knowledge and skills gained during her undergraduate degree has sparked her passion for injury rehabilitation, health promotion, and physical activity. This has inspired Tamara to pursue a Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta. Through her practicum experience at Lifemark, she was able to explore physiotherapy’s broad scope of practice. This helped Tamara understand the importance of multidisciplinary collaboration, lifelong learning and creative thinking. She hopes to be able to help individuals improve their quality of life, independence and ability to be active without pain.
