Kate Brown

Biography

Kate Brown has always pursued excellence in her personal and professional goals. She values nursing for the wide versatility in career opportunities and the privileged position to provide compassionate care for those who are most vulnerable. Kate has been inspired by the intelligent and dedicated nurse mentors she has encountered throughout her nursing education. She is currently working on an acute internal medicine and COVID-19 unit in Calgary, and she hopes to eventually pursue a career in emergency nursing. Kate also plans to acquire a Master of Nursing degree and hopes to return to the University of Calgary as a nursing instructor.
