Ahmad A.

Biography

Ahmad is entering his Bachelor of Science in Engineering. He’s had an interest in robotics and machines as long as he can remember, so for Ahmad, engineering has always been a passion and a dream. He hopes to work in fields related to the upcoming automation era. He has a specific interest in aerospace and mechanical engineering. His dream job would be to work for a global aerospace company, such as SpaceX or Boeing!

Ahmad graduated from Nelson Mandela High School in Calgary, AB. His top accomplishments while pursuing his high school diploma were getting admitted to university with a 95% admission average, maintaining honor roll in grades 10, 11, and 12, and receiving the FRC Rookie All-Star/Engineering Inspiration Award.

With its diverse student population, massive number of clubs, and limitless tools to achieve one's potential both as a student and as a person, attending the University of Calgary was Ahmad’s obvious choice. Calgary is home, and Ahmad wanted to remain connected to this vibrant city. The University of Calgary is prestigious, advanced, and without a doubt the best university for him.

This prestige award will allow Ahmad to focus on his volunteering and academic work as he will not have to worry about student debt. In addition to this, he will be able to purchase the necessary tools and technology required for his success. Ahmad is excited and nervous to begin the next chapter of his life. He looks forward to the challenge as well as to the amazing memories and experiences ahead.
