Biography

Reese graduated from Steinbach Regional Secondary School in Steinbach, MB. While there, she won the J.J. Peters Bronze Medal, was named the 2022 Female Athlete of the Year, and was Valedictorian for her graduating class.

Reese chose to study at UCalgary because of the exceptional engineering program, ample opportunities to be involved, beautiful and modern campus, and the Schulich School of Engineering work-integrated learning program.

Reese is enrolled in the Bachelor of Science – Engineering program. Her passion for engineering comes from her fascination with the built environment. She has been interested in large infrastructure design since a young age.

In the future, Reese plans to pursue a career as a structural engineer. Her goal is to design the structural components of skyscrapers, bridges, and other infrastructure projects around the world.

Reese considers receiving the Prestige Award an immense honour. It allows her to focus on her studies and take full advantage of all the opportunities available on campus.

Reese is interested in learning more about artificial intelligence and how it can be developed and used in the architecture, engineering, and construction industries. She is also interested in learning more about designing and building for sustainability in engineering.
