Established to globalize the student experience for students attending a high school in China studying at the UofC. Encouraging cross-cultural experiences helps achieve the university's "Eyes High" goals by creating global citizens.

Award description

  • Offered annually to continuing undergraduate students enrolled at the University of Calgary
  • Participating during the upcoming academic year in an approved study abroad program in China (inclusive of Hong Kong and Macau). This includes credit programs such as student exchange programs with partner universities; group study programs led by University of Calgary professors; term abroad programs; research projects; practica, internships and co-operative education abroad.
  • Academic merit
  • Demonstration of financial need
  • Preference to students enrolled in Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Health Sciences, or Bachelor of Arts - Urban Studies program.
