Taylor Family Digital Library: Self-Guided Tour
Take a self-guided tour through one of the world’s most innovative libraries, the Taylor Family Digital Library, which houses state-of-the-art digital spaces, an art gallery, campus archives and more.
The Taylor Family Digital Library (TFDL) at the heart of campus is recognized as one of the world’s most innovative libraries. It has more than 10,000 users per day and features more than 2,000 study spaces, 27 bookable workrooms, the Alan H. MacDonald Graduate Student Commons, maker space, Visualization Studio, One Button/Virtual Reality Studio, Archives and Special Collections and Nickle Galleries.
The TFDL was awarded Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold certification in June 2014, ranking the library among Canadian and world leaders in sustainability of design, construction and operation.
Registration is not required. Self-guided tour handouts are available at the registration table at The Park at Taylor Quad and in the TFDL foyer.
