Shows the amount of time it takes for a student to complete their degree program from the point of initial enrollment to graduation. The "Time to Completion" dashboard uses the CSRDE (Consortium for Student Retention Data Exchange) methodology and presents information based on the End of Add Date snapshot data. The CSRDE methodology focuses on students who entered directly from high school in the fall, are enrolled in a four-year degree program, registered full-time, and are not part of combined or joint programs or enrolled in ESL classes.

Workforce Reports
The staff composition dashboards are interactive tools that provide an overview of the university's workforce, focusing on key demographic and employment metrics. You can explore data on overall staff headcount, employment categories, department distributions, residency status, and gender breakdown. The dashboard features historical trends, allowing you to view staff changes over recent years, and offers filtering data by specific criteria like faculty, department, and employment status.
The workforce dashboard is produced from workforce extracts obtained from the Human Resources department of the University of Calgary, reflecting snapshots taken on December 31st of each year. This data includes Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) and headcount information for various staff groups, encompassing Academic staff, Members of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), Management and Professional Staff (MaPS), and Support Staff.
Engagement and Experience Reports
Student experience, satisfaction, engagement, and post-graduate outcomes based on data from the National Student Engagement Survey (NSSE), the Canadian Graduate and Professional Student Survey (CGPSS), the Canadian Graduate and Professional Student Survey (CUSC), and the Graduate Outcome Survey (GOS) are essential for improving academic programs, student services, and guiding institutional planning.
Visit the Student Experience and Support page for a complete list of surveys that UCalgary uses to hear from students and improve student experience.
This dashboard is designed and developed in collaboration with the office of the Vice-Provost, Teaching and Learning and the NSSE Steering Committee to provide detailed insights from the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) and can serve as a tool for understanding undergraduate educational experience and guiding strategic planning efforts.

- Analyze engagement indicators and high-impact practices at faculty, department, and program levels.
- Compare survey results across multiple years and benchmark them against peer groups.
- Interpret data on student engagement, including academic challenges, interactions with faculty, campus environment, and learning with peers.
- Assess student participation in enriching activities such as internships, research projects, and study abroad programs.
- Use statistical significance and effect size metrics to identify areas of strength and opportunities for improvement.
