An interdisciplinary introduction to the concepts, methods and practices of leisure, recreation and tourism studies.

Prerequisite(s):
Admission to the Haskayne School of Business and 30 units.
Antirequisite(s):
Credit for Tourism Management 309 and 409 will not be allowed.

Tourism Management 409       Travel and Tourism Management
Economic, social, cultural, political, and technological dimensions of tourism, in particular changing travel markets, industry structure, evolving issues and problems.
Course Hours:
3 units; (3-0)
Prerequisite(s):
60 units.
Antirequisite(s):
Credit for Tourism Management 409 and 309 will not be allowed.
Notes:
Not available for credit toward the Bachelor of Commerce program. Preference in enrolment is given to students who have declared a Management and Society Minor.
