We study new nanoporous solids known as metal-organic frameworks. Our research begins with basic materials discovery but we are “application-directed” and pursue development of promising materials with proof-of-concept studies and collaborations beyond chemistry. We target high impact work through publications, commercialization or other knowledge transfer to offer a well-rounded experience for group members.
