See which Alberta high school approved option courses and locally developed courses you can use for your application to UCalgary
The University of Calgary will accept the following as approved options for admission.
- Social 30-2
- All courses under the Social Science grouping (See below for the full list)
- Select Career and Technology (CTS) courses (See below for the full list)
- All dual credit courses
- Select locally developed courses (See below for the full list)
Options from the approved list will be combined (if required) to fulfil one approved option requirement (five or six credits) using the courses with the higher grades first.
Intermediate (20-level) and Advanced (30-level) credits can't be combined to satisfy a course requirement.
Standard admission: intermediate credits will be used where five advanced credits or other approved 30-level courses aren't available.
Final admission and to finalize an offer of admission: only advanced credits will be used.
