Emily Carr has a PhD from the University of Calgary & an MFA from the University of North Carolina and teaches writing at the University of California Santa Cruz. In 2010, Emily Carr was the Writer in Residence at the Jack Kerouac House & a Zoland Poetry Fellow at the Vermont Studio Center.
