ESA Memberships: 

ESA memberships are $25 and must be purchased each school year - we accept cash or cheque. Memberships will be sold at all ESA events, and in the ESA office during lunch hours on school days.  

Membership benefits include:  

• Membership in the Alberta Teachers Association (ATA), through the ESA as a Student Local of the ATA.
• Access to Specialist Councils of the ATA - click here for application form
• Access to discounted services such as First Aid certification, Graduation Photos, etc.
• For 2nd Year students, you must be a member of the ESA to attend the Teacher's Convention
• Access to free Professional Development (PD) workshops delivered by ATA members.* 
• Access to activities sponsored and funded by the ESA.
• Access to student led conferences
• WestCAST conference
• Graduation Banquet

*Please note that there are specific procedures in place for registration for PD workshops.  See our Professional Development page for more information.

Please note that First Aid sessions are now over.  However, we have arranged another option for ESA members who still need FIrst Aid certification.  ESA members can take certification with About First Aid, still with a significant discount.  Please see the schedule at http://www.aboutfirstaid.ca and email Heather at info [at] aboutfirstaid [dot] ca for more details.
