Experts in DNA synthesis and DNA sequencing since 1985

We are a multi-user core facility and provide custom oligonucleotide (DNA and RNA) synthesis and automated DNA sequencing and fragment analysis services to both academic and commercial researchers. These services are not restricted to the University of Calgary and are also available to external academic and commercial researchers.

DNA Synthesis, to 120 bases long
RNA Synthesis, including 2'-O-methyl RNA and 2'-O-fluoro RNA nucleosides, and siRNA (RNAi)
Locked Nucleic Acids (LNA)
Phosphorothioate antisense oligonucleotides
Dye labeled and dual-labeled oligonucleotides

We are specialists in nucleic acid chemistry and solid-phase synthesis and regularly prepare a wide range of unusual or highly modified oligonucleotides that are difficult or very expensive to obtain from other sources.
