Strong winds combined with wet ground are resulting in tree falls in Calgary, including on campus. 

Travel between buildings via indoor links when possible.

Be aware of surroundings when outdoors, including overhead. 

Report downed tree branches or other facility or grounds issues from the weather to Facilities Customer Service 403-220-7555

Out of an abundance of caution due to the high winds, construction crews have temporarily rested a crane on the ground outside of Social Sciences building. This is a proactive decision to ensure safety of our campus community. Pathways in and around the crane have been temporarily blocked. Pedestrians are urged to travel inside as much as possible.
