As a result of the 1988 Olympics, Kinesiology has developed superb places for research, learning and training. It is home to the Dinos varsity teams, Olympic Oval, Active Living programs, the Outdoor Centre and the Sport Medicine Centre. The Faculty of Kinesiology has become the number one science school in North America and number 7th globally.
