Successful applicant checklist

  1. ​Choose your first- and second- choice programs

    Review our program descriptions and identify your top two program choices. Remember to choose a second choice program with a lower competitive admission average than your first choice.

    Using your program admission requirements, make sure you have the required courses for both your first- and second-choice programs. If you have application questions, please contact us.

  3. Apply online

    Using the tabs below, select "Studied in Canada", "Studied outside of Canada" or "Open Studies" and follow the steps to apply.

Please select the tab that best describes you. We are currently accepting applications until September 1, 2016 for our Bachelor of Nursing and Bachelor of Community Rehabilitation (BCR) programs. Successful applicants will begin their programs in Winter 2017. Our undergraduate program application will be available on October 1, 2016.

Follow these steps to complete your application

  1. Create an ApplyAlberta account

    Selct "Apply for nursing or BCR" to go to the ApplyAlberta website, complete your profile, and select the "University of Calgary."

  2. Create or enter your eID

    As part of the application, you'll be asked to enter or create your UCalgary eID.

  3. Complete your application

    In your ApplyAlberta account, review and update your personal and academic information.

  4. Submit your application

    You must submit your ApplyAlberta application for review, and select a way to pay your $125 application fee.

  5. Submit required documents

    Based on your application, we'll let you know how and where to submit any required documents.

Follow these steps to complete your application

  1. Start your application

    Select “Apply for nursing or BCR" to start your application and follow the steps to create a UCalgary eID.

  2. Complete your application

    Complete your online application including your personal and academic information.

  3. Submit your application

    You must submit your application for review, and select a way to pay your $145 application fee. 

  4. Submit required documents

    Based on your application, we'll let you know how and where to submit any required documents.

    Select “Apply now” to start your application and follow the steps to create a UCalgary eID.

  2. Complete your application

    Complete your online application including personal and academic information.

  3. Submit your application

    You must submit your application for review, and select an option to pay your $125 application fee.

    Based on your application, we'll let you know how and where to submit any required documents.

English Language Proficiency Requirement

You may be required to provide proof of English language proficiency as part of your application for admission to the UCalgary.  To view our English language proficiency requirements, visit the University Calendar for more information.
