Welcome to ACMBS-IV

The 4th International Conference on Advanced Composite Materials in Bridges and Structures, ACMBS-IV, will be held at the Westin Hotel in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, from July 20 to 23, 2004. The Conference is organized under the auspices of the ACMBS Technical Committee of the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering (CSCE) and is sponsored by the University of Calgary and ISIS Canada Network of Centres of Excellence. The success of the three previous ACMBS conferences, the first held in Sherbrooke in 1992, the second in Montréal in 1996 and the third in Ottawa in 2000, has established this event as a premier forum for exchange of knowledge and experience with the use of advanced composites in bridges and other structures.
