Dec. 6 Memorial Candle Making
Each year our peer helpers and UCalgary community members come together to make beeswax candle pairs, which are sold during our annual fundraiser supporting our programming to end gender-based violence.
16 Days of Activism Against Gender Based Violence
Every year, the Women’s Resource Centre adopts the 16 Days of Activism campaign to focus on gender-based violence, and what individuals can do to prevent it.
Women's Leadership Conference
The conference facilitates dialogue and mentorship between students, faculty and staff, and provides an opportunity to develop leadership skills. The conference celebrates achievements of UCalgary alum and inspires students to realize their leadership potential.

The Women Leaders Speaker Series presents local women leaders sharing challenges they've faced in their careers, how they overcame them and how they defined their own paths.
Who Needs Feminism Campaign
The campaign reclaims the word feminism and reduces antagonism and apprehension over the term. It recognizes the meaning and power of feminism is influenced by each person’s unique experience, and that there is no single definition of feminism.
