Lisa started working with the Sport Injury Prevention Research Centre as a research assistant in September 2013. In 2015, she transitioned into her role as a research coordinator for the Prevention of Early Osteoarthritis (PrEOA) Knee study. Along side the PrEOA projects, she is also the coordinator for the SHRed Consequences of Concussion study. She has also been managing the SIPRC website since 2018.
Lisa has a Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of Calgary, a Massage Therapy Diploma from Mount Royal University, a Phlebotomist Certificate from SAIT, and is currently working on a Digital Marketing Certificate through the University of Calgary Continuing Education department.
Outside of SIPRC, Lisa works as a massage therapist, both at a clinic and running her own business. When not working, you can find her out in her garden. She also enjoys sports, camping and tackling DIY projects around the house.
