Each player performs 30-seconds of working time

  • Supporting players set up, each with a ball, in a square or circle formation around working players
  • Working players run to perform one-touch passes with supporting players, selecting to receive the ball from a different supporting player each time
  • After passing back to supporting player, working players should turn and accelerate into a different direction
  • This drill should be performed at high intensity
  • Working players moving in a circle
    • Cue "Your next pass cannot come from the supporting player immediately beside you"
  • Turns and 'opening up' movements train the vestibulo ocular system
  • Incorporates acceleration and deceleration movements
  • Sport-specific drill to prepare for the session
  • Higher-intensity drill to increase heart and breathing rates prior to the beginning of the practice/game
