Personal Emergency Contacts

A personal emergency contact is the person that the university would contact if you were injured.


Adding an Emergency Contact

The directions below are intended for you to add your personal emergency contacts. This does not add you as a contact if there is an emergency within a room or department. That process is completed through the Chematix system for laboratories and workshops and through Campus Security for departmental areas.


Employees

  1. Log in to My UCalgary
  2. Click on My Records, Employment Records, Employee Self Service
  3. Click on Personal Information
  4. Click on Emergency Contacts
  5. Click on Add an Emergency Contact
  6. Complete the details
  7. Click Save
  8. Click OK

Students

  1. Log in to My UCalgary
  2. Click on Student Centre
  3. Click on Emergency Contact Names
  4. Click on Add an Emergency Contact
  5. Complete the details
  6. Click Save
