Colin Bergman

Vice-President, ARC Financial

Colin was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta and has been working in the energy industry for nearly 10 years. Colin is a Vice President at ARC Financial, Canada’s largest energy focused private equity firm where he is focused on the origination, due diligence and execution of new investment opportunities. At ARC, his responsibilities include deal origination, structuring and execution, portfolio monitoring and exit. Colin currently represents ARC as a board observer on Kiwetinohk Energy Corp., an Alberta-based energy transition company that aspires to be a Canadian leader in the global transition to low carbon energy. In addition, Colin recently served as board director on Deltastream Energy Corporation, a privately held oil and gas company that recently sold to Tamarack Valley Energy Ltd. for >$1.4 billion.

Colin joined ARC in early 2018 with prior experience in investment banking at BMO Capital Markets. While at BMO, Colin was involved in over $10 billion in capital markets transactions including mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt offerings and restructurings. He has a Bachelor of Commerce from Queen’s University and is a CFA charterholder.
