About:

SAS assists students with physical disabilities, mental health concerns, and learning/attention issues. They work with Student Wellness Services and the University Community to provide services to students that will enable their success.

Services include:

• Distraction free environments for examinations
• Testing/diagnoses of learning and attention disabilities (upon diagnosis, special academic accommodations are available)

The Nat Christie Adaptive Technology Centre offering a wide range of adaptive technology options for students with disabilities attending UCalgary, including:

• adapative technology assessments
• use of the adaptive technology 
• adaptive technology loans program
• funding information and application assistance
• individualized training
• distraction free study rooms
