University of Calgary Calendar 2009-2010 Undergraduate Admissions A.20 Alternatives to Regular Course Credit A.20.3 Advanced Placement (AP) Program
A.20.3 Advanced Placement (AP) Program
AP students will automatically receive advanced credit or advanced placement in approved courses where they present grades of 4 or higher. In the case of advanced credit, a grade of "CR" will be recorded on the student's record. Official AP transcripts are required as part of the evaluation process.

***Students who successfully complete a challenge examination may receive credit for Computer Science 233 in lieu of the half junior Computer Science.

1 "Junior" refers to credit at the 200 level, but for which no direct University of Calgary equivalency exists.

2Students who wish to major in Geography will be required to take Geography 251.
