Your library, from home

As a UCalgary student, there are a number of services and resources you can access from the comfort of your own home. All you need to do is sign in with your UCID to access most of them.

Online databases: Thanks to technology, information is widely available online. With your UCID, you can access a wealth of information through online databases and journals. Check out the full list.

Ebooks: The library has way more than just textbooks and research resources! Check out an ebook for some enjoyable reading in your free time. Browse and search titles.

Talk to a librarian: Need assistance but can’t make the trip to the library? You can chat with a librarian or library staff over phone, SMS, email, or live chat.

myLibrarian program: Access personalized research and library support through the myLibrarian program. Your librarian can help you navigate academic resources, connect with innovative technology, find literature for assignments, focus a topic you’re interested in exploring, and more. Learn how to join the myLibrarian program.

Browse gallery collections: The Nickle Gallery has uploaded their collections of rugs, numismatics (a fancy word for currency) and art online for the public to view and learn about. View the online gallery.
