Overview
Dr. Frank Maurer is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science, and the Associate Dean of Innovation & Strategic Partnerships in the Faculty of Science. He is also the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of VizworX, as well as the Founder and Director of Agile Surface Engineering (ASE). The research focus of the ASE group includes engineering of immersive analytics applications, immersive control environments, and UX and agile methods. Dr. Maurer’s research directly related to aerospace includes immersive control for multi-drone operations, Visualize Magnetosphere, and ExoAR.
