Did you know that international students can work in Canada?
Hiring an international student creates a more culturally diverse organization that reflects the Canadian population. International students can offer a global perspective when challenged with unique problems, and can help fill the gap for skilled workers that Canadian graduates alone may not cover.
Key details to consider:

Full-time international students can work up to 20 hours per week while studying

In some cases, they can work full-time from May to August

International students are eligible to work in Canada for up to three years after graduation

To support the success of Indigenous students and communities at the University of Calgary, the employer relations team, career development specialists, and Writing Symbols Lodge are here.
