Hire an international student

Did you know that international students can work in Canada?

Hiring an international student creates a more culturally diverse organization that reflects the Canadian population. International students can offer a global perspective when challenged with unique problems, and can help fill the gap for skilled workers that Canadian graduates alone may not cover.

Key details to consider:

  • Full-time international students can work up to 20 hours per week while studying

  • In some cases, they can work full-time from May to August

  • International students are eligible to work in Canada for up to three years after graduation
