Camp LEAD

Deepen your understanding of leadership through an Indigenous and oral story telling-based lens, focus on designing your university experience, and enjoy outdoor land-based learning and activities like archery, horseback riding and more! And of course, no session of Camp LEAD is complete without a bonfire and s'mores.

At Camp LEAD, you’ll have the chance to think about designing your university experience and beyond, and to engage in meaningful learning about leadership and storytelling through an Indigenous lens.

What can I expect? From learning about Indigenous Ways of Knowing, oral storytelling, and programming inspired by Stanford’s Life Design work for university students, Camp LEAD is a great way for you to connect, make meaning of your experiences and think about your next steps at UCalgary and beyond.

Registration Deposit Fee: $30.00

The cost of attending Camp LEAD is covered generously by the University of Calgary's Students' Union Quality Money Program. By paying this deposit fee, you agree to attend and participate fully in this Summer session. Your deposit fee will be refunded if you attend.
