UCalgary’s lasting partnership with Calgary Stampede

Spanning more than 50 years, UCalgary’s ongoing partnership with the Calgary Stampede is a treasured example of the commitment set out in the Eyes High Strategy 2017-22 to engage the communities we both lead and serve.

There are a number of UCalgary Stampede activities planned for 2018, beginning with the annual Campfire Chats on June 21. Coinciding with National Indigenous Peoples Day, the event will be held in ENMAX Park at Stampede Park for the first time. The flurry of activities will continue with the annual President’s Barbecue on July 5.

Visit UCalgary’s Stampede website to learn how you can join the campus community in celebrating Alberta’s western heritage and pioneer spirit.
