Explore Calgary and Beyond
One of the biggest advantages of staying on campus is how close you are to both city life and the outdoors.
- The campus is a 15 minute walk or a short bus ride from University District, a lively neighbourhood with restaurants, cafes, patios, grocery stores, and everyday services
- You have access to campus amenities, including the Fitness Centre (extra fee) and the Outdoor Centre, where you can rent gear and plan outdoor trips
- The Bow River runs alongside campus and is a popular spot for walking, cycling, and canoeing
- Calgary’s pathway system makes it easy to get around by bike or on foot
- Banff National Park and Kananaskis Country are within easy driving distance for day trips or weekend adventures
Whether you prefer quiet evenings after work or active weekends exploring the mountains, campus is a convenient starting point for both.
