Accommodations
Located in the heart of the University of Calgary campus, UCalgary Accommodations offers a variety of lodging options for visitors, conference guests and groups, with convenient access to campus amenities and Calgary attractions.
Accommodations are available annually from mid-May to mid-August, with advance booking and a minimum stay of two consecutive nights required.
We offer a variety of accommodation options, including private and shared rooms, for conference guests, visitors and travellers. All rooms include linens, blankets, pillows and towels. Please note that cookware, dishes and cutlery are not provided, and pets are not permitted in residence rooms or buildings.

Yes. Individuals, families and groups are welcome to stay with us. Please contact stay@ucalgary.ca with your preferred stay dates and accommodation requirements.
No. Summer accommodations are available from May to August. Residence rooms are occupied by students from September through April.

We have a limited number of rooms with accessibility features. Please contact stay@ucalgary.ca for availability and additional information.
Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or adult chaperone.
We accept cash, Visa, Mastercard and debit. A credit card is required at check-in.
A pre-authorization of $350 per stay will be placed on the credit card to cover room and incidental charges. Parking fees are collected separately at check-in. Charges are processed at check-out.
Pets are not permitted in University of Calgary residence buildings.
Guests requiring a guide or assistance dog must contact our team prior to arrival.
Individual reservations may be cancelled up to 48 hours before arrival.
Reservations cancelled within 48 hours of arrival will be charged one night's accommodation plus applicable taxes. Prepaid Stampede reservations are non-refundable.
Check-in is located at International House, 169 University Gate NW, Calgary, AB T2N 1N4.
Check-in begins at 4 p.m. Early check-in cannot be guaranteed. If your room is ready when you arrive, you may check in early. If not, we are happy to store your luggage until your room is available.
Check-out is at 11 a.m. Late departures may result in an additional night's charge.
The University of Calgary is located approximately 9 km from downtown Calgary, about a 20-minute drive, and is accessible by Calgary Transit and the CTrain.
Yes. Overnight parking is available for a fee per vehicle, per night. Guests must provide their licence plate information at check-in before parking. Overnight parking is permitted only in designated lots.
Yes. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout campus.
Yes. Coin-operated laundry facilities are available in:
- International House (5th floor)
- Yamnuska Hall (basement)
Laundry supplies are not provided.
All rooms include either a mini-fridge or full-size refrigerator and a microwave. Kitchen equipment, cookware, dishes and cutlery are not provided.
