Steps to apply

Based on where you completed high school, follow these steps to apply:

Studied in Alberta, British Columbia or Saskatchewan

Applications are open Oct. 1 to March 1.

Beginning Oct. 1, you can start your application on the ApplyAlberta website, complete your profile, and select "University of Calgary." 

As part of the application, you'll be asked to enter or create a UCalgary eID. You'll use your eID to login to your application and then to access your Student Centre once you've applied.

Use our  application guide  to help you if you get stuck at any point while filling out your application.

Select a way to pay your $125 application fee. The best way to pay your application fee is by credit card within the application.

Based on your application, we'll let you know in your Student Centre how and when to submit required documents. 


Studied elsewhere in Canada

Applications are open Aug. 15 to March 1.

To start your application, you'll be asked to enter or create a UCalgary eID. You will use your eID to login to your application and then to access your Student Centre once you've applied.

Submit your application and pay your $125 (Canadian education only), $145 (any international education) application fee.

Based on your application, we'll let you know in your Student Centre how and when to submit any required documents.
