Complete information on the formatting, printing, submission and distribution of the thesis is contained in the Faculty of Graduate Studies Thesis Guidelines, available at http://grad.ucalgary.ca/current/thesis.
Once all the examiners have signed the approval pages, the student must submit the signed original approval page, a Departmental Clearance for Convocation for Thesis Students form that is appropriately signed, a Thesis Submission Cover Sheet and a Library and Archives Canada Non-Exclusive Licence to Reproduce Theses form, to the Faculty of Graduate Studies. Effective September 28, 2012, all theses must be submitted electronically to the University of Calgary Theses Repository, the Vault: http://theses.ucalgary.ca/. All theses will be harvested by the Library and Archives Canada.
Note: Copies of the thesis approval page or ethics approval pages should not be included in the thesis. They need to be submitted as supporting documents.
If required by the program, the student is responsible for the costs of printing and binding the required number of copies of the thesis, and for having the required number of copies bound.
Students must continue to pay the appropriate tuition and general fees until all degree requirements, including the submission of the thesis to the Faculty of Graduate Studies, have been completed.
