3.2.8 Leave of Absence

Students are allowed to request a leave of absence for a period of up to one year after successful completion of one term. Only one leave of absence will be granted for the duration of the BEd program.

Students who wish to take a leave of absence must make a formal request in writing to the Director of Student Experiences. Students returning to the program after a leave of absence must notify the Werklund School of Education by March 1st if they are planning to return for the Fall Term and by October 1st if they are planning to return for the Winter Term. Students who do not return to the program after their leave of absence will be required to re-apply for admission.
