H.2 Names on Degree

It is the University’s policy to use the full legal registered names of students on the degree. Names are printed in upper case lettering following the order: Given Name(s) and Surname. The use of an initial in place of a given name is not permitted. Any changes requested to the name currently on file with the Registrar’s Office must be supported by legal government issued documentation. Documents required when processing a name change may include:

  • Birth Certificate
  • Marriage Certificate (last name only)
  • Department of Vital Statistics Legal Name Change Certificate
  • Passport/Immigration Documents
