Introduction

Continuing Education offers a diploma in Computing and Information Systems, which helps individuals develop the knowledge and skills they need to function effectively in an Information Technology workplace. With specializations in software development and web development, this six-month, full-time, fast-track program provides 700 hours of classroom instruction with an optional 200 hour work experience practicum. Eligible for federal and provincial grant and loan assistance, this diploma is an employment training program that prepares students for entry-level positions as computer programmers, web designers and web developers.

  • Software Development - An intensive and comprehensive program focusing on the following components: programming, database and SQL, Linux and open source, and software management.
  • Web Development - An intense and comprehensive program focusing on the creative components of web site design along with the technical components of Web site development.
