Social Support and Social Networks Among Those with Diabetes
Summary
This study will explore how people with Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes experience social support. The study will also explore how people with diabetes are connected to other people in their life.
Study participants will be entered into a raffle to win 1 of 4 $100 amazon e-gift cards. There is approximately a 13% chance of winning one of these cards.
Eligibility
Eligible gender: Male, Female, Transgender, Other
Eligible ages: 18 to 100
Accepts healthy participants: Yes
Inclusion criteria:
Individuals are eligible to participant if they are:
1) 18 years old or older.
2) Diagnosed with Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes.
3) Able to read, write and speak English.
Exclusion criteria:
Individuals are not eligible to participant if they are:
1) Undiagnosed with diabetes.
2) Younger than 18 years old.
3) Currently diagnosed with only gestational diabetes or pre-diabetes.
