Queer Narratives of Psychedelic Experience
Summary
This study aims to collaborate with 2SLGBTQ+ folks to record and share stories about their experiences with psychedelic substances(e.g. LSD, 'Magic' Mushrooms, and MDMA), and about how and why those experiences have been meaningful to them. Psychedelics may soon be available in clinical settings, but we know very little about how to make sure that these experiences are safe and effective for sexual and gender diverse persons.
Participants will meet with the researcher up to three times, and collaborate to create a narrative account of their experiences with psychedelics. The accounts of all participants will be used to identify priorities for 2SLGBTQ patients who might access legal psychedelic therapy, and to guide future research into supporting 2SLGBTQ+ folks in these settings.

Eligible gender: Male, Female, Transgender, Other
Eligible ages: 18 to 99
Accepts healthy participants: Yes
Inclusion criteria:
Participants must:
1) Reside in Alberta.
2) Be over the age of 18.
3) Self-identify as a member of the 2SLGBTQ+ community.
4) Have had at least one meaningful psychedelic experience.
5) Be willing to share their story, and collaborate in creating a written account of their experiences.
