Love in the time of gluten: The role of partner support in relationships with celiac disease

Summary

This study explores the experiences of adults who live with celiac disease and, in particular, whether and how the disease affects how they form and maintain romantic relationships. Romantic relationships fulfill needs for belonging, intimacy, and support and are the sources of some of life’s greatest joys. Your responses to this online survey will help us better understand the ways that celiac disease impacts people's experiences in these important relationships.

The online survey contains questions about your medical history, your current and previous experience in romantic relationships, and your thoughts about how celiac disease has affected these experiences (in both positive and negative ways). You do not need to have be in or have ever been in a romantic relationship to complete the survey.

The survey also asks some questions about your identity so that we can explore how your identity relates to your experiences with celiac disease and in romantic relationships.
