Investigating the utility of growth charts as tools to assess child growth and to communicate growth information to parents
Summary
Growth is recognized as the most useful metric to track child health, development and wellbeing. Growth charts are tools that are accepted and routinely used in paediatric care in Canada. However, there is almost no research on the use of growth charts as a tool to educate parents on their child’s growth.
The purpose of this research study is to investigate the experiences and concerns of healthcare providers about using growth charts as a tool to assess growth and communicate growth information to parents

Eligible gender: Male, Female, Transgender, Other
Eligible ages: 20 to 70
Accepts healthy participants: Yes
Inclusion criteria:
All healthcare providers who are involved in child growth assessments are eligible to participate in this study.
