Development of a Wearable Tool for Prosthetic Gait Analysis

Summary

We are developing a tool that attaches to the shank (leg) of a prosthesis to detect risk factors for falls.

Eligibility

Currently recruiting participants: Yes

Eligible gender: Male, Female, Transgender, Other

Eligible ages: 18 to 101

Inclusion criteria:

1. Adults with a single below-knee amputation who are learning how to use a prosthesis.
2. Attending therapy in Calgary, Alberta.

Exclusion criteria:

1. Anyone aged 17 or younger.
