The Changing Sense of Who I Am: Social Support and Re-negotiating Identity after Sports-Related Concussions in Female Athletes

Summary

I want to know more about identity changes and social support after concussion. I want to understand how female athletes deal with changes in their identity after a concussion. I also want to know more about what role support people have in making sense of those changes. Taking part in this study means that you will be asked to complete up to two interviews with me over the course of two weeks. Each interview will take approximately 1-2 hours and will be done via video conference. Overall, you will be asked questions about your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours in relation to identity changes and social support.
