The BedMed Initiative

Summary

High blood pressure increases the risk of heart attack and stroke. Blood pressure lowering pills lower this risk but how well these pills work may depend on the time of day they are taken.

This study will confirm if the time of day blood pressure pills are taken matters. If a difference is found, this study could change how blood pressure is treated worldwide.

The study team works with patients and their Family Physicians through usual care to support participation in the study.
